Flame became the nickname, when Jives Uncaluncaluncaluncaluncaluncalunca Doe misspelled the country, Britain, when trying to put up a board saying, "Welcome to Britain". How Britain could ever be misspelled so much that it said, "Flames" baffled many linguists. Many linguists eventually came to the conclusion that Jives was a terrible speller.
