Penguins are a species of high-flying birds native to the distant galaxy of Qwake that came to earth in the year 1066 in a botched attempt to colonize the arm of Orion along with the rest of the Milky Way galaxy, their starships bore a strong resemblance to krill and other species of shrimp and small fish.
Over time the colonist penguins forgot that they were from another galaxy and many of them became feral and spread out from Antartica to parts of Africa and South America. The Penguins are also great bedtime storyreaders on their planet, and are the best limbo players.
